If you are traveling abroad with children, make sure you have the proper documents. Some countries have strict requirements for traveling with minors, including requiring parents to show evidence of their relationship to the child when entering or departing the country. Some also require a notarized consent letter if only one parent is traveling. Review the info page for your destination at travel.state.gov/destination to check the requirements before you go.

💡 Did you know some countries now require your passport to be valid 6 months past your travel dates?

We have an upcoming trip in October with a group. My passport was scheduled to expire in December.

I applied for renewal online on August 9th and received it today! No I did not pay for expedited either. I’m a bit shocked myself lol.
