The North Cascades is truly a mountain range to be respected. I learned a lot and got my butt kicked! Now I can’t wait to see what the Sierra Nevada has in store for me!!

You all know I’m the worst at maintaining the socials, but I’m trying to get better!!

A lot has happened.
TLDR: I got off trail & went home to heal, my van was broken into & all my gear was stolen, I’m finally getting back on trail today!!

WA you’re gorgeous 😍

I’ve had an incredible (and tough) time already.

I’m going to change my plans a bit and slow down for a while, lowering my daily mileage for a couple of weeks.

My legs have carried me 260 miles so far, but I need them to carry me about 2,412 miles more by the end of October. Slowing down now will help me get there later without injuring myself.

Florida was lovely! Rio and I loved running on all of the dog friendly beaches!
I did get stung by a jellyfish for the first time at one of them, that was painful! It's a FL trip I'll never forget!

What type of traveler are you? Do you stay inside in a new place because it's raining, or do you get out and explore even if it means getting wet?
Personally, I love exploring in the rain! As a bonus we had this entire park in Savannah basically to ourselves!
