Steal my one week Greek Island hopping itinerary, but first send this to someone you want to go here with and follow Preethi Chandrasekhar | Adventure Travel for next week's reel on the lesser known Ionian islands!
1. Fly Athens to Mykonos or fly direct to Mykonos from several other European cities.
2. Stay in town if you want to be within walking distance to the restaurants and coffee shops and don't plan on renting a car
3. Day 1: Explore Chora (Mykonos town) the whitewashed alleys, blue doors, bougainvillea, little boutiques and cafés. Walk through Matogianni Street, find the famous windmills, then wander down toward Little Venice.
4. Day 2: Go north to Agios Sostis Beach and lunch at Kikis Tavern. Platis Gialos for the afternoon if you want easy swimming. Scorpios for sunset dinner.
5. Day 3: Ferry to Delos or relax in Mykonos, maybe head to Paradise Beach
6. Day 4: Ferry to Paros, lunch in Naoussa
7. Day 5: Ferry to Tinos, taxi up to Vaptistis Winery for the afternoon, early dinner in town and back to Mykonos!
8. Day 6: Ferry to Milos. Spend 2 nights here and explore Sarakiniko, Klima the cute fishing village (have lunch here) and end with sunset in Plaka.
9. Day 7: Half day Kleftoko boat tour to see the caves and white volcanic formations
10. Day 8: fly to Athens from Milos
Send this to someone you want to go here with!
