Artist alert! 🚨 Please join us in welcoming Bronte to FireWorks' studio artist community!
Adriana Amador-Chacon, otherwise known as “Bronte”, is a self-taught Mexican-American painter and graphic designer from Camden, New Jersey. She has a distinctive artistic signature, specializing in pieces that honor and express strong emotions, elaborate dreams, and the fluency of energy through the portrayal of animals and surrealism. With vivid detail, every piece is, as the artist explains, “A story harmonizing the balancing act of constraints and liberations that are guaranteed to guide us through life.”
Though the drive for creation can be traced back to her fondest memories, Bronte didn’t officially come into her own until the closing of the year 2015, when she was first introduced to painting. Since then, the medium has been one of her greatest allies, motivating the artist to use inspiration from nature as well as her own lived experiences in pursuit of her craft. Bronte continues to expand her repertoire through the creation of mural and public art. Devoted to building relationships in the local art community, she can be found networking at events hosted by multiple profit and nonprofit organizations in the South Jersey and Philadelphia area such as: Watu-Moja, Hopeworks N’ Camden, IDEA Center for the Arts and Camden Fireworks. With plenty more to learn, Bronte is excited about the opportunity to collaborate with artists within and outside of FireWorks.
