Autumn is an ideal season to explore the Lake of the Ozarks. Ha Ha Tonka State Park offers a variety of scenic walking and hiking trails, while Thunder Mountain provides a pleasant 0.5-mile hiking experience. Additionally, many local cities have paved walkways for those who prefer a more leisurely stroll. For adventure-seekers, there are several local ATV parks available.

Bridal Cave and Thunder Mountain is 4.7 miles away from the complex. This is a beautiful cave and surrounding area. There is a fee to go in the cave but it’s free to hike the 1/2 mile nature trail that starts near the entrance of the cave. They are the only cave in Missouri that can be accessed by land or water. They have a few spots for boat parking and a couple parking lots for a vehicle. There are some tight and low spots in the cave. The floor is very wet as well so watch your step.
