One of the most loved experiences on our Sardinia journey is spending time in Simonetta’s family home, learning the art of handmade pasta the way it’s been passed down for generations.

It’s authentic, personal, and the kind of experience you simply can’t recreate in a restaurant or cooking school.

A Jason’s Journeys first… 👀
We hosted our first wedding during Ten Days in Tuscany.

Just two people, the Tuscan countryside, incredible food & wine, and a group that felt like family by the end of the journey.

No huge production.
Just a truly unforgettable moment we were so honored to share.

Every year around Memorial Day, Jason brings our spring Tuscany travelers to the American cemetery just outside of Florence.

Rows and rows of white crosses stretching farther than you can process. Young lives. American lives. A reminder that pieces of our history live far beyond our own borders.

Italy holds so much beauty, food, wine, and joy… but it also holds the stories of sacrifice that helped shape both Italian and American history forever.

Jason said it best this week:
“Don’t have a happy Memorial Day. Have a mindful Memorial Day.”

Today is not just about a long weekend. It’s about honoring those who gave everything, and taking a moment to truly reflect on the freedom we’re able to experience while traveling this world. 🤍
