Runners, we need your help speading the word about our upcoming Garland Mountain Trail Runs on October 17, 2026. For 2026, we will have a 4 mile dog friendly run with a separate start, a 4 mile no-dog trail run and a half marathon trail run. These are some of the best flowy trails around that we only get to run on once per year. Fool's Gold Mountain Bike Race Race Shirt Update - Just a handful of sizes remain in the race design. Once we run out, we switch to Mountain Goat Logo shirts so everyone still gets a shirt. Word on the street is that these ended up looking REALLY good.

Fool's Gold Mountain Bike Race registration/shirt update!!
Currently 7 spots left at the lowest price.
Race shirts remaining in S through XL are in the single digits, so sign up soon to get your preferred size. Sizes are alloted as you register, the registration system will give you the choice of a "race logo" shirt if there are any remaining in the size you pick. Once we run out, you'll receive a Mountain Goat logo shirt.

It takes an army to host the Fool's Gold Mountain Bike Race - here are the volunteer positions we still need to fill on Saturday September 12. These are all in the Dahlonega, GA area. Please email [email protected] if you can assist. All volunteers receive either a $100 entry credit, a 2026 Fool's Gold Entry for a friend/family member, or a $100 donation to a trail organization/youth team of your choice.

6 am to Noon - Parking/Registration/Pre-Lunch Setup
11 am to 5 pm - Bull Mountain Aid Station Crew Member
10 am to 3 pm - Bull Mountain Aid Station Medic
8:30 am to 2:30 pm - Course Marshal
1 pm to 7 pm - Course Marshal
8 am to ?? - Sweep Rider (can be an ebike)
Noon to ?? - Sweep Rider (can be an ebike)

We are looking for a few more course marshals for the upcoming Fool's Gold Mountain Bike Race on Saturday September 12th in Dahlonega, GA. Ideally, we need folks who are familiar with the gravel roads in the Bull Jake area so that you can easily get to your assigned spot. Course marshals receive a shirt and $100 event credit, or we can comp an entry for a friend or family member for this year's Fool's Gold Race.
