The Bubble Room on Captiva Island will reopen July 14, nearly three years after Hurricane Ian forced its closure. Additional setbacks from hurricanes Helene and Milton delayed restoration efforts. The restaurant, known for its vintage decor and towering cakes – especially its Orange Crunch Cake – has been rebuilt to preserve its original charm, with only minor updates. It will serve lunch from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and dinner from 4:30 to 9 p.m. Seating will be first come, first served.
