✨ Disney Planning Tip ✨

You don’t have to do it all.

It’s so easy to look at a Disney vacation and feel like you need to fit in every ride, every show, every restaurant and every bit of magic.

But sometimes, the magic is in slowing down long enough to enjoy the view. 💙

Take the break. Wander through the shops. Stop for a snack. Sit and enjoy the atmosphere. And if something else sounds more fun, it’s okay to change the plan!

Some of our favorite Disney memories have come from the moments we didn’t plan. ✨

🍂 Hello, September! 🍂

Fall is such a fun time at Walt Disney World! 🎃✨

Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is in full swing at Magic Kingdom, with Halloween decorations, special entertainment, characters, treats and plenty of spooky (but not-so-scary!) fun.

Over at EPCOT, the International Food & W**e Festival is underway, bringing flavors from around the world to the park. 🌎🍴

From pumpkins on Main Street to tasting your way around EPCOT, there’s so much fall fun happening around Walt Disney World.

Here’s to a September filled with a little extra Disney magic! ✨

🍷🌎 EPCOT International Food & W**e Festival begins today!

Starting August 27, EPCOT will once again be filled with flavors from around the world as the International Food & W**e Festival returns! ✨

One of the fun parts of visiting EPCOT during festival season is wandering around World Showcase, trying something new and discovering a few favorites along the way.

Are you excited for Food & W**e this year? What’s the first thing you’d want to try? 🍴🍷✨

Carousel of Progress has always held a special place in our family's Disney trips—especially for Katie. ❤️

On our last Magic Kingdom night this summer, there was one thing we knew we had to do: ride Carousel of Progress one more time before it closed for its reimagining.

And that last ride ended up being so much more special than we expected.

We're used to walking right in with little to no wait, but that night there was a long line of people waiting for one last ride. You could feel the nostalgia before we even walked through the doors.

And once the show started, it got even better.

People sang along to There's a Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow and clapped through every scene. Everyone seemed to know they were experiencing this classic version together for one of the last times.

I'll admit, a few of us got a little teary. ❤️

With the announcements from D23 this past weekend, we're starting to learn more about what the next chapter of Carousel of Progress will look like. And while we're excited to see what's ahead, we're also a little nervous. We love this attraction for exactly what it is—the nostalgia, the history and that classic Disney feeling.

I'm very happy that There's a Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow will remain, because I can't imagine Carousel of Progress without it. ✨

We'll definitely be there to experience the reimagined version when it reopens. But I'm so grateful that we made time for one last ride around the turntable with the version our family knows and loves.

There's a great big beautiful tomorrow... but we'll always have a soft spot for yesterday. ❤️

Are you excited for the changes to Carousel of Progress, or are you going to miss the classic version too?

Beignets after a park day? Yes, please! 😋✨

On a couple of evenings during our trip, instead of taking the bus back to Port Orleans Riverside, we hopped on the French Quarter bus for one extra stop.

We grabbed some beignets and then took the walk back to Riverside along the Sassagoula River—one of our favorite walks at Disney.

On this particular night, we even got to try the special Fourth of July beignets!

And of course, we made sure to bring a few extras back for breakfast the next morning. 😉

A pretty sweet way to end the night! 💙

🧺 Magic Made Simple

One little thing that made our longer Disney stay easier — doing laundry!

At Port Orleans Riverside, we had a laundry room right by the quiet pool. We threw in a load while we were swimming, so it really didn't feel like we were taking time away from our vacation.

We also used it on our rest day, which was another easy time to get a load done.

And no need to pack detergent — it was available right there in the laundry room.

For a longer trip, knowing we can do a few loads along the way means we don't have to pack quite as much... and we can rewear some of those favorite Disney outfits. 😉

It's not the most exciting part of a Disney vacation, but little conveniences like this can make a big difference! ✨

Wishing you a peaceful Sunday and a little Disney daydreaming. 💙🏰

🎄 Spotlight Saturday: Disney Traditions ✨

One of our favorite Disney traditions is choosing a Christmas ornament together on each trip.

On our Disney Springs night this year, one of our first stops was Disney's Days of Christmas to pick out our 2026 ornament. We all look around until we find one we agree on, have it personalized, and bring home another little piece of our vacation.

I love that these aren't just Christmas decorations. Each one represents a different trip and a different chapter in our family's Disney memories. ❤️

And every Christmas when they come back out of the box, so do all those memories.

It's such a simple souvenir, but it's become one of my favorite traditions.

Do you have a special souvenir you bring home from every Disney trip? ✨
