A lovely couple returned from a week in Iceland enjoying the unique landscapes, culture and being immersed in nature. They enjoyed a balanced mix of guided tours and relaxation.
While I love blue lagoon with kids, for adults, I recommend the quieter, more intimate thermal spas.
Mrs S enjoys bird watching and Iceland does not disappoint. There are so many unique birds that you may start to lose count. Puffin nesting season is truly a treat to witness and my Iceland highlight.
Iceland has specially designed trucks to navigate the terrain. They had a private driver for the day to explore remote areas .
What is unique about Iceland is the mossy green landscape mixed with thermal areas. It’s magical in summer.
Reynisfjara beach is one of the most stunning backdrops I’ve ever seen. It is a highlight to be seen in Iceland and is close to popular waterfalls and glaciers. Glacier viewings and walks are a must do as well in Iceland.
Hotels can be remote in Iceland and booking far in advance is necessary for the best options. Some locations offer wonderful balcony views for morning coffee or evening wine.
A whale watching excursion in summer is a delight and considered another must do.
When you’re ready to discuss an Icelandic vacation, I’d love to work with you!
