Vacations don’t always have to be big & cost tons of money to make great memories. This week, we traveled to Chillicothe OH to watch our son play baseball. Everyone said there was nothing to do there & I was unsure how it would go for our girls. It was only a 2 night getaway, but they had such a fun time. Abby just wanted to live in the hotel pool. Last night, she exclaimed…. “This place is the BEST! I LOVE Chillicothe!” After multiple Disney trips & Disney cruises, our 7 year old found just as much excitement in this seemingly small adventure. It was just a great reminder that sometimes the most simple things make the BEST memories!

There is just something about that Disney Magic both for the young….and the young at heart!! We enjoy the parks, but feel like the character interactions on the ships are impossible to beat! They are so layed back and relaxed…. Just like the rest of the experience!

We had an incredible 3 Night trip aboard the Disney Dream!! My husband & I had been aboard the Dream, but the kids had not. We had a wonderful time making incredible memories together. 3 Nights didn’t feel long enough, BUT it is what we had, and we made the most of every moment. From
Character greetings, to stage shows, deck parties, visiting their newest private Island, Bingo, dinners, water slides & more…. There really was not one thing we didn’t do! It’s hard to believe next year our oldest will be a Senior & I am not sure we have anymore of these trips left. I am determined to make those memories while we can!

We have learned as our kids have grown, it gets harder & harder to find time to get away to create those magical memories. Between school and sports schedules along with what seems like endless medical issues in this house, another vacation felt out of reach until recently. We realized that we didn’t need need 7-10 days to make the moments count. We just needed a long weekend, some last minute planning between seasons & a DREAM come true! 🚢

Hi everyone!! I know it’s been way too long since I have shared here publicly. Life is just as crazy going into 2026 as it was 2025…. Haha! I am so thankful for all of my amazing clients who continue to send me countless referrals and bookings. Thank you to those who return time and time again! You have no idea what this business means to our family!

I get asked often if I am still booking travel and the answer is YES!! Of course I am! With our busy family life, I don’t have as much time to keep up my social media presence, but I am still here booking any and all trips for those near and far to me!

Thanks to all of you, I am looking forward to making 2026 my BEST year in the Travel Business yet!

“You can’t afford to go.”

I’ve heard that more times than I can count.

But my answer has always been the same:

“I can’t afford not to go.”

Growing up, we didn’t take big vacations.

No beach trips.

No all-inclusives.

Nothing that looked like what the other kids talked about when school started back up.

And I get it - money was tight.

My parents did the best they could.

But back then, a beach vacation felt like something only other families did.

So when I became a dad, I made a different decision.

From the moment my firstborn arrived, I’ve been judged for how I work, how I rest, how I parent, and how I show up.

But the thing I’ve caught the most flack for?

Our vacations.

“You should save.”
“You should wait.”
“You can’t afford that.”

But the truth?

We aren’t promised next summer. We aren’t even promised tomorrow.

I could’ve waited.

Waited for things to feel more stable.

Waited until the business was booming and everything was perfectly dialed in.

But I would’ve missed it.

Missed the laughs on roller coasters. The sunburns and ice cream runs. The last-minute flights just to make a memory. Yeah, it’s not always convenient.

And it’s definitely not always cheap. But time is a gift. And guilt is a thief.
They say you get 18 summers with your kids…

We’re inching close to that.
Maybe the trips won’t stop.
But they’ll change.
And so will we.

So if you’re looking for permission?

Take the trip.
Make the memory.
Spend the time.

Because the price of the vacation?

That’s nothing compared to the cost of regret.
