The Slide Show Project

The Slide Show Project Honoring generations of amateur photographers in our family. Bringing boxes of slides, negatives and prints back to life and sharing with the public.

We kept asking ourselves this question, as we sorted through our family estates and generations of images taken by relatives who loved photography. We were storing decades of images that hadn’t seen the light of day in many, many years. Pictures from vacations and gatherings and special events. So many faces that weren’t identified and now no one remembers. Moments in time, captured forever, of pl

aces that are now greatly changed. Would others appreciate the history? Could others identify the people who we do not recognize? Do we have pictures that would mean something special to others? As a way to honor our elders, and perhaps bring some joy to others, we created this page to share these many images. You are welcome to share the images. We invite respectful comments and any information you may want to add to the photos. Our thanks to the Hibbert, Putnam, McReynolds, Sanders, Mundinger and Elliott family members whose images comprise this project.
