✨ A BIG life and business update…I’m going ALL IN. ✈️

After 11.5 years, I made the incredibly difficult decision this week to resign from my corporate career.

This wasn’t an easy decision. I’ve spent more than a decade working alongside people I genuinely care about, and saying goodbye this week was much more emotional than I expected.

But the last several years have also taught me just how quickly life can change.

I lost my dad, then my stepmom. I went through a major house flood and everything that came with rebuilding. I’ve navigated being a single mom, built this business on the side, and spent a lot of years trying to keep all the plates spinning.

Somewhere along the way, I realized I needed to give myself permission to slow down, take a mental break, and really think about what I want this next chapter to look like.

And right now, a HUGE part of that chapter is April the Travel Advisor. ❤️✈️

I’ve been building this business since 2022, and I’m incredibly grateful for every single person who has trusted me with a vacation, referred a friend, shared one of my posts, joined my travel group, or simply cheered me on.

Now I finally have something I haven’t had before: time to truly invest in growing it.

So yes, I’m going ALL IN. 🚀

After a very long drive from Texas to Florida, I can’t say I’m mad about trading the highway for this. 🌊

Sometimes you just need a few days near the water to reset, recharge, and remember why you work so hard in the first place.

And yes…being a travel advisor who would personally choose the beach almost every time probably surprises absolutely no one. 😂

🚢 One of the questions I get asked the most is…

“Don’t you get bored on a cruise?”

Honestly? Not even a little. 😄

Between Broadway-style shows, live music, comedy clubs, AquaTheater performances, trivia, pools, specialty dining, private island days, and simply relaxing with an ocean view…there’s usually more to do than I can fit into one sailing.

That’s one of the reasons I love cruising. Whether you want to stay busy from morning until midnight or spend the day with a book by the pool, you can make the vacation exactly what you want it to be.

🎉 Today I’m celebrating 44! 🥳

Birthdays always make me stop and reflect on how quickly life goes by.

Over the years, I’ve learned that the things I remember most aren’t the things I bought…they’re the places I’ve been, the people I’ve shared those experiences with, and the memories we’ve made along the way.

I’m incredibly grateful for another year, for all of you who follow along on this journey with me, and for everyone who has trusted me to help plan their vacations. It truly means more than you know. ❤️

🍷🧀 EPCOT’s International Food & W**e Festival is back…and this year it’s celebrating 30 years! 🥳

If you’ve never experienced it, this is one of my favorite times to visit Walt Disney World.

From delicious food booths inspired by flavors from around the world to exclusive drinks, live entertainment, and special festival merchandise, there’s something around every corner to discover.

The festival runs through November 21, making fall one of the best times to visit EPCOT.

🚢 If someone asked me which Royal Caribbean ship I’d recommend for their very first cruise…

My answer would be Utopia of the Seas.

After sailing Royal Caribbean multiple times, Utopia continues to be one of my favorite recommendations for first-time cruisers.

Why?

✨ It’s easy to navigate.
🏝️ It includes a stop at Perfect Day at CocoCay.
🍽️ There are plenty of dining options.
🎭 The entertainment is fantastic.
⚓ It has just the right balance of excitement and relaxation without feeling overwhelming.

Every traveler is different, but if you’re looking for a fun, stress-free introduction to cruising, Utopia is a ship that’s hard to beat.
