In commemoration of Memorial Day, the City of Centerville will honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country (Mon., May 25, 9am, at the Centerville Veterans Memorial Plaza at Stubbs Park).

What to expect:

* A keynote address delivered by Col. Dustin Richards, Commander of the 88th Air Base Wing at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base

* Remarks from Centerville Mayor Brooks Compton

* Music performed by the Centerville Community Band and bagpiper Greg Martin

* A wreath-laying ceremony

* A joint honor guard/presentation of the nation’s colors, featuring VFW Post 9550, Centerville Police Department and Washington Twp. Fire Department

The City of Centerville remains committed to recognizing service members past and present, ensuring that future generations understand the cost of freedom.

The public is encouraged to attend this meaningful tribute.
