Switchgrass offers custom built tiny homes that you can design from the ground up. We don’t have set models, our homes are unique and one of a kind. No problem!

At Switchgrass Tiny Homes we believe in quality and paying attention to details. We make every effort to use our resources as efficiently as possible, and to employ sustainable materials where we can in our quest to bring the best quality to every tiny home we build. we love to get creative, it’s what we specialize in. Tiny living is not just somewhere to sleep and eat, it's a minimalist mindset that allows for freedom to live and not be controlled or tied down by possessions, huge mortgages and the pricey upkeep of owning a large home. By going tiny, you free yourself of a great deal of financial concerns and the burden of too many possessions. Here at Switchgrass Tiny Homes we have a saying:

Switchgrass offers custom built tiny homes that you can design from the ground up. When you purchase a tiny home from us, you embark on a journey that we will walk you through. You begin by choosing the size of home you want and then work together with Byron to design the floor plan exactly how you envision. You can choose paint colors, fixtures, flooring, lights, etc. and have us finish it for you. If you need a little help deciding, Jessica’s creative talents can help guide you along the way. We want your tiny home building experience to be enjoyable and your finished home to be an expression of you and your unique style. Or, if you prefer, you can order your home on the spare side. We will construct a safe and solid shell, leaving you just the right amount of details so that you can finish it out any way you want. Whichever way you go, if you choose to go tiny, we can help you build your dream. It’s been busy over the last week or so. Lots of painting going on, trim started today. Tomorrow we go with flooring. This little 22’ house is really coming together.

Pictures don’t really do them justice, but these poplar panels going up on the ceiling are going to look fabulous!!! The character in some of these really jumps out.

Cabinets are staged and ready to go! Our 2nd commercial build is really taking shape. More to come!

We got one of the commercial builds as done as we can, while still waiting on a few pieces that were ordered months ago. So, it’s on to the next one. Stay tuned for some finished pictures, that is if we can get materials.

And so begins the 2nd of a pair of commercial builds.

Been relatively quiet here over the last week, especially with the cold and snow, but still getting things done on the first of two commercial builds. Spray foam, and moving onto walls and ceiling. It should look a little different by the end of the week.

Taking it easy this week as a couple guys are out. But, we still got spray foam done and a start on the shiplap. Plus, I’ve been able to sand and poly the tongue and groove for the ceiling. Next week we’ll hit the ground running.

Another busy week here at Switchgrass Tiny Homes. Started framing up the first of two 32’ commercial tiny houses. Lots going into this one, including a 12kw generator up in the front end for power wherever they go.

Starting to stack ‘em up around here! Our 2nd 22’ got pulled out yesterday and materials brought in to start the first of two 32’ commercial builds today. Gotta keep moving to keep up with everything happening. Stay tuned for updates!
