Among other creatures, bighorn sheep 🐏, bald eagles 🦅, grizzlies, and black bears bear🐻 are common along the routes. You’re especially likely to spot elk while travelling through Jasper National Park aboard the Journey Through the Clouds route.

Rest assured, if you’re onboard Rocky Mountaineer and wildlife has been spotted, your Host will make sure that everyone knows. You’ll hear them announce ‘bear on the left’ or ‘moose on the right’ and all the guests will move to one side of the train to catch the spectacle!
