Michigan Beach on Lake Michigan is a favorite spot for all. It offers a white sandy beach, Petoskey stones, a playground, a pavilion, concessions from .birdprovisions , restrooms, a swimming area, and the iconic Charlevoix Lighthouse

This is the River Side Cottage in beautiful Charlevoix, Michigan. We hope that you chose to stay at our home away from home for your place while you are in town. The house is believed to have either been built, or moved to it’s current location between 1906 and 1911.

Either the lot or the lot with the house on it was purchased by Martha Baker and her husband John who owned and operated the Beach Hotel. Over the years they bought several cottages in the area and used them as either overflow for when the hotel was booked, or as alternative places for people to stay instead of the hotel. Each cottage they owned was given a name if it did not already have one, and this one was appropriately called “River Side.”

This 5 bedroom, 4 bathroom house was completely renovated in 2023. Peak season there is a week minimum stay. Please visit our website for more information.
