Day three!

This day we made our way from Moab, Utah to Salt Lake City.

We stopped in a small mining town called Helper and learned the story of Big John as we made our way west.

We arrived in Salt Lake City and stayed at the FABULOUS Grand American Hotel (included in the premier package). It’s perfect in just about every way… the rooms, the food, the decor and you can’t beat the location! The train is right outside the hotel and is a great way to get around Salt Lake City!

Day two!

Hopefully by now, you saw my video. Like in life, day two brought the unexpected. Luckily, everyone is safe and well! And as we usually do, we move forward!

On day two, we traveled from Glenwood Springs, CO to Moab, Utah! Watching the landscape change was literally exquisite!

We went to Canyonlands National Park and it was spectacular! And lots of story telling from our guides!

The little downtown Moab was lovely! Great stores, great coffee, wonderful people!

We are now headed to Salt Lake City for day three!!! Stay tuned!

Day 1 on the train was fantastic!

We traveled from Denver to Glenwood Springs. I was literally like watching the seasons change.

The scenery was incredible. We even saw an eagle and an eagles nest!

The train itself was exceptional! Lots of drinks, gourmet food, a whiskey tasting and lots of story telling by the crew!

We ended the day at Hotel Maxwell Anderson in Glenwood Springs. Such a gorgeous little town. As soon as I was off the train, I headed across the road to enjoy the hot springs!

Today is day two and we are headed to Moab. I’ll be back later to update you on this day. It’s very interesting to say the least!
