The funny thing about social media is that we often follow accounts we don't intend to be social with, save photos we don't revisit, and like posts without reading captions.

But just as with my business, my social media account is intentional. I created it in effort to encourage beautiful people to see beautiful places without the hustle that goes into planning!

Some once told me expectations are the thief of joy…

Nah! I beg to disagree. Bring me your high expectations because I have a track record that shows I will exceed them.

Everyone wants to travel, but no one has the time to curate a trip of excellence so instead we put it off and head to Miami or Tulum instead. While there is nothing wrong with those places, we need to normalize going everywhere vs just somewhere. (I hope yall caught that)

Nothing screams group trip like coordinating outfits!💁🏾‍♀️

However, it seems like it is always hard to find the coordinating color when it’s time to shop or there is always one person messing up the flow but doesn't want to skip the photo session 🙄. So here are a few tips to ensure you can ensure everyone understands the assignment:

✨Plan to wear coordinating colors, for example for my group trip to Dubai I have planned a hues of melanin welcome dinner so folks don’t have to feel so overwhelmed to have a specific shade of brown.
✨Keep it simple. There is one thing all people look good is all black or all white! You literally can not go wrong rocking these colors especially if you are rich in melanin.
✨Plan ahead. I know on vacations we like to go with the flow, but why waste time figuring out which background looks best for the planned group photo when you can plan ahead. Figure out when and where you want to grab your pic to “break the gram” and get it over with so that you can enjoy your trip while turning heads!

🗣Can we normalize traveling with people who are like-minded?

When planning my personal trips I make sure my travel crew and I are on the same page, because one thing I refuse to compromise on is where I am staying.

Will I be in the streets most of the day? 🗣Yep! However, when I return home (yes 👏🏾because 👏🏾my 👏🏾hotel/Airbnb👏🏾 is my 👏🏾home 👏🏾for 👏🏾the 👏🏾time) it needs to be nice.

One thing I love about my job as a travel curator is I get to ensure that my clients are able to stay in accommodations that match their travel energy💁🏾‍♀️.

🇧🇷If I could send everyone to Brazil I would, that’s why I was super excited to work with .lan1 as she planned a trip for herself and her husband

One thing that sets me apart from other travel curators is I also love to travel and when I travel I am intentional with building relationships with locals, checking out hotels in person, and trying all the food(my fav part) so that I can curate experiences with first hand knowledge. That’s why when they told me they wanted to go to Rio I was able to call a personal connect to ensure they had an authentic experience ✊🏾!

One thing for certain is flight prices are not loyal! One minute you have a deal and the next minute the flight is tripled.

So when exactly is the best time to book?🤔

✨I can tell you when it’s not….Tuesdays! Truth be told, you can find a flight deal any day of the week. Tuesdays are no longer the prime time so let’s erase that thought now! So when is?

✨Research shows that the best time to book domestic flights are 1-3 months in advance and the best time to book international flights is 8 months in advance.

✨So what about last minute deals you ask….are they legit! The answer to that question is yes. However, one should not depend on last minute flight deals because there is no guarantee. So my suggestion is to do one of the following:

🌎Turn on your flight alerts as soon as you know your travel plans and be prepared to book when the flight drops.
🌎Hire a travel professional like myself to do the research for you to ensure you are getting the best deal!

Just yesterday I was able to save a client over $300 on his planned vacation, was it because I have a hookup….nope I simply know where to look and take my time with each client booking. 💁🏾‍♀️
