Mr. Kurt’s Kid’s Art Camp
Summer Road Trip
The Road Trip will have 7 sessions that are for kids 6-12 years old.
• There will be 1 session/wk for 7 weeks.
• Therewillbe3Levels:Levels1,2,3.Levels2,3willhaveextradetailsand
techniques. There will be multiple time/day options for each.(see below)
Skill Levels:
✓ Level 1 Starfish- Knowledge of Shapes and Colors (Primary-red,blue,yellow
and Secondary-orange,violet,green), able to follow instruction, have patience
and love art!
✓ Level 2 Farmers- Have Level 1 knowledge and worked with different mediums
before (example; Acrylics, colored pencil, pastels)
✓Level 3 Backpackers-Have Level 1,2 knowledge and have a basic
understanding of the color wheel, can attempt to draw a picture from a photograph.
Sessions Include:
• Packing the car with our colors and materials needed for the Road Trip!
Then away we go, we will visit all the places we love:
• Beaches
• Farmlands
• Cities
• Mountains
• Desert
• back to the Coast!
With each 1-hour session, we will paint and/or draw a scene together representing that place on our Road Trip. I want to leave 10 minutes towards the end for questions and show and tell. The parents/kids can also email me ([email protected]) with pictures, questions or anything about the sessions.
My Goal is to inspire and motivate the kids past the hour-long session and have them use the information to explore and experiment art on their own for many hours!

Our Road Trip's seventh stop is the Rocky Coast. - Paint the beautiful cool sky and steep cliffs of a rugged coastline. - Stand on top of a rocky cliff overlooking the ocean and not worry about your mom telling you to "move back from the edge or you'll fall off!"
