Family/Friends you have one last chance to reserve your spot! This cruise is in honor of my Mom’s birthday! Top things I learned during my stay in TULUM, MX…. “another traveler’s review”

1. They do NOT necessarily prefer USD over pesos & you actually LOSE $ paying in USD.
Most places convert at a $17 Pesos per $1 which is lower than the typical $19-20 per $1.
Also, most “street food” carts & the centotes take cash only. So get PESOS!!!

2. Food & Drinks in the city is wayyyyy cheaper than the retaurants & beach clubs. Beach prices are around $15-18/drink & food around $25-50. In the city, drinks are $5!!! And food around $7-10… and honestly it tastes way better.

3. If your cool with exploring the culture, rent an ATV or scooter to get around during the day. Taxi’s are EXPENSIVE. So we rented a ATV for $70/day (2 people can fit on one) from our hotel. We went all over town on it and even drove to the beach strip and cenote’s. They are very sharing of the roads there n lots of people use shooters, bikes, atv’s to get around.

4. The beach is full of seaweed during this time so we avoided the disappointment.

5. Don’t be afraid to explore.. it does look real um… interesting with all the abandoned buildings and rugged roads but the people are really quite nice.. just don’t go out too far.

6. Don’t get hustled by the tour “pop up shops” all over the city. Check with hotel for arrangements for ATV’s/scooters & tours to avoid “disappearing” agents. Some require u either to leave ur passport or $100 deposit.. very risky
