Hey guys! Buckle up because this will be one of my longer posts. 🫶 I wrote this on the plane ride home because my mind and heart were just buzzing with that “I’m leaving Disney” feeling ❤️
I just returned from my Earmarked by Disney Silver Travel Agency Education Program in Disneyland and I wanted to share something important with you. First of all, I’m not going to lie but I really didn’t think it was possible to love Disney and Disney destinations anymore than I already do, but this trip changed that.
I cannot even really put into words how to describe why but I will try.
As I boarded my flight back home, out of nowhere I felt my eyes start to well up with tears and then I realized why – I was leaving something really special behind and it didn’t hit me until I knew my zip code was about to change. That is the way I feel every time I’m leaving a Disney trip behind me, however this time was a little different. This time, I was leaving Walt behind. I was leaving his park, his vision, pathways he walked, dreams he realized and attractions he touched. I will never forget how that made me feel.
What’s more is that I was able to experience Disneyland for the first time and I absolutely did feel like a kid again. Some things were similar to Walt Disney World, but all in all everything was new, wondrous and magical! This is why first trips to Disney are treated with such honor and I was able to feel that again. I will never, ever take that for granted. I like being able to say I took my “First Visit” to Disneyland because I think it brings me closer to the feelings that I want to create for my clients! All Disney vacations are important to me but those first timers have a special place in my heart as they always have. Now my connection to them feels even greater and I will go out of my way to deepen the magic from my end.
It's true Disney can really pull at your heart strings by making you laugh, making you cry, and making you feel like anything is possible. This is the core of what Walt wanted and why I do what I do. Yes, I know a lot about Disney and yes I can help you plan the most amazing trip ever. But don’t ever forget that when you work with me, you are not only getting someone who can make your trip easier, but you are also getting someone who wants to make your trip memorable and something that you can look back on with joy.
I wish I could bottle how I feel right now and give it to all of you. So the next best thing I can think of is being able to help you achieve those travel dreams that mean the most to you.
