TCTW Update: Looking to the Future
Since TCTW began in 1967, we’ve been committed to providing a meaningful and transformative experience for our participants. As the world changes, so do the challenges of running a program like ours, and we believe now is the right time to step back and reassess how we can continue offering the best and safest experience possible.
One major factor influencing this decision is the increasing complexity and cost of insuring our drivers. Post-COVID, securing coverage has become significantly more challenging, and we recognize the need to restructure how we handle transportation to ensure long-term viability. Rather than making quick adjustments, we want to take the necessary time to thoughtfully rework our program.
With that in mind, we’ve decided to pause our trip for summer 2025 to focus on strengthening TCTW for the future. We are committed to returning in 2026 with a renewed structure that upholds the heart of the TCTW experience while adapting to today’s realities.
We are incredibly grateful for the love and support of our TCTW community, and we look forward to sharing our plans with you soon. Most of all, we can’t wait to return for our 60th summer of unforgettable adventures out west in 2026!
