The Palmetto dunes General store is such a hidden gem. It is walkable from our place – about a 5 to 7 minute walk. My boys love to go there in the evenings for soft serve ice cream. I also love to take my own yeti cup and get Diet Coke for one dollar. I had no idea about that perk until this season. You can take your own cup and fill it up from the soda machine for just one dollar.

They also have fantastic breakfast. My favorite is the bacon egg and cheese burritos, but my boys love the homemade donuts.

It’s official!! We have opened for bookings for 2026. We fill up quick so let me know what dates I can check for you. We require $100 at time of booking. 50% of the total would be due at the end of January and the remaining balance due 30 days prior to arrival. We also have some dates still open in November and December. Come stay!
