We arrive on the island of Tahiti and leave the wonderful Star Breeze after 14 days and 2000+ miles or exploration across the South Pacific We spend the morning exploring the main island of Tahiti and have some facinating time with wonderful guide Gerald. Afterwards, Stewart Tours travelers relax at the waterfront Hilton Tahiti and enjoy lunch while waiting for our departure from the South Pacific.

We anchor in Cooks Bay today on the stunning island of Mo'orea. This lush tropical Bali-Hai is our playground today. Picked up by gleaming outrigger canoes we explore the coast swimming in the turquoise waters. We then enjoy a private Motu Island lunch with our feet in the water including a tropical cooking class and stingray and tropical fish coming for a visit. Leaving the water behind we visit the best viewpoints on the island one reachable only by 4x4 vehicle. We toast our finL full touring day with pineapple rum and fresh Princess Pineapple.

We spend the morning of our second day in Bora Bora visiting some of the most stunning locations in the lagoon. Swim with sharks, check. Swim with Manta Ray , check. We arrive in famous Bora Bora last night and wake up anchored in the glorious lagoon. We stay two nights and start our first day exploring for a couple hours on the land by 4x4 vehicle. In the evening we take a boat to a Motu island for a wonderful dinner under the palms with music and fire show.

It's Rarotonga time as we arrive in the Cook Islands and spend the day with Mānia & Ngame at their home which also features a cultural area to experience creating a Polynesian feast in the UMA in ground oven from scratch. We do coconut husking, preparing meat and fish , fruits and veg, take a guided walk in the village and even circle the entire island on a drive. Music, Discovery and fun Polynesian style.

After two sea days we reach Rarotonga in the Cook Islands tomorrow. Travelers have been enjoying Polynesian drum classes, Tahitian flower making, lectures on culture, cooking demonstrations and even visits to the ships bridge. Lots of music, good food and fun. We crossed the International Dateline and had a ground hog day repeating the 8th of July a second time. We even received pins to celebrate.

We visit the island nation of Tonga today and journey around the island seeing some of the sites, landscape and even the incredible blowholes and the landing site of famous Captain Cook. We enjoy a traditional cooked lunch and a little Tonga transitional dance before returning to the ship and beginning a two day sail to the Cook Islands.

Who does not love a sea day, even better in the deep South Pacific. Ukelele lessons, Polynesian drum circle, history seminar, Ice Cream Sundae with the officers or just a book around the pool. It was all on the table today and Stewart Tours travelers soaked it all in. We end the day with an Alfresco dinner at sunset on the aft deck.

We have a wonderful Stewart Tours day on Vanua Levu starting in the main town of SavuSavu. We take a walk through a tropical wonderland, then visit a private volcanic thermal Mud pool for some squishy warm goodness. Afterwards we enjoy a dip in a beautiful Fijian waterfall. Rounding out the day witnessing cooking on open volcanic vents, a little singing and a Kava ceremony to say goodbye to our guide Elayne, Jay and Monet who shared the island with us.
