Our last full day has us moving from Marrakech back to the coast and Casablanca where it all began 17 days ago. We do some light overview touring, have a wonderful lunch near the old city walls and visit the stunning Hassan II mosque for a private guided tour. We have our farewell dinner at famous Rick's Cafe an omage to the bar in the famous movie Casablanca. We also have lots of hugs and goodbyes including tonight with wonderful guide Said who has shared his country with us all with passion..

We spend our last of the four days in Marrakech with a relaxing morning and then a visit to Majorelle Gardens it was owned and restored by designer Yves Saint Laurent (YSL). Relaxing lunch around the huge pool at the hotel before an independent evening. Some enjoyed a walk to the Marakech Manara Mall for dinner, shopping and fountains.

Staying in Ouarzazate, we venture out to explore the UNESCO world heritage site of Aït Benhaddou Kasbah. You might not recognize the name, but this amazing site has been filmed in everything from Gladiator to Game of Thrones. After a scenic overlook lunch, some of us continue with a visit to the largest film studio in Africa, Atlas Studios. Many Hollywood blockbusters have shot here.

It is literally like stepping back 300 years.
