We leave our beautiful location riverside in Colca Valley and travel into the Colca Canyon area which is twice as deep as the Grand Canyon. The morning is a fun hunt along the Canyon rim searching for the famous Andean Condor, its wings span upwards of 12 feet. We cross back over the spine of the Andes at 16,000 feet and descend into Arequipa for a 2 day stay.

Everyone has a nice relaxing day at our beautiful lodge in Colca Valley, truly a paradise. Some take hikes, most take a sip and enjoy the volcanic pools right on the rivers edge. We surprise Stewart Tours travelers with a BBQ lunch of tenderloin, Chicken and Alpaca right next to the rushing river. We even visit the onsite Alpaca ranch for a little hand feeding.

We leave Lake Titicaca behind the head over the spine of the Andes for a stay at a beautiful lodge in Colca Valley. We hit a new Stewart Tours record high today of 16,108 feet at the summit. Our day is spent in one of the oldeat cities in the Americas and the Inca capital, Cusco. We visit the lively San Pedro market designed by Gustave Eiffels company, visit the once gold plated Temple of the Sun, Koricancha. We then tour the fascinating Incan site of Sacsayhuaman, it's beautiful setting high above the city on a grassy plain. (12.000ft) We also say goodbye to our wonderful guide Darwin before we travel south by train. It's dinner and music out tonight!
