There are lots of reasons to work through a travel agent when booking your Disney trip

While being overwhelmed by how complicated (and quickly changing) Disney is is certainly one of them. It’s definitely not the only reason.

I personally chose to use a travel agent for all four of our trips with our kids (before becoming one) because I loved having a planning partner to bounce ideas off of that could share the mental load of planning the family vacation with me (because if you’re the primary parent doing this you know how much work it can be on top of everything else you manage)

Not only that but going through a travel agent can help save you money and time and can give you peace of mind that you’re using your hard earned vacation dollars in a way that is actually going to feel good to you.

Not to mention the fact that when you book through a travel agent you’re also supporting a small business (which I’m always a big fan of 🩵)

At the end of the day there’s no right or wrong way to book your Disney trip. If you’re a DIY person, power to you, or if you like having the support of a planning partner that can be a second set of eyes and ears on your trip, help you sort through all the options, and take some of the logistics off your plate (because we both know you’re already doing too much 🤪), that’s amazing too. Ultimately I hope you’ll choose the thing that’s going to feel best for you.

I’ve read too many horror stories lately of “my travel agent booked our trip and then stopped responding to us” lately and I just need to tell you I literally COULD NEVER.

Being there for my clients every step of the way is one of the MOST important parts of this job to me and something I take VERY SERIOUSLY

Obviously this is just my general rule of thumb but ultimately every family’s situation is going to be different. My goal as a travel agent is always going to be to provide thoughtful, personalized feedback and context for my families so you can ultimately make the best decision for you 🩵

When trying to plan a Disney trip it can be easy to get overwhelmed by all of the decisions that need to be made (especially when life is…well…life-ing 😅) and one of the things I love about being a travel agent is getting to take that stress and overwhelm out of the planning process so that my families are actually EXCITED about their upcoming trip.
