🎈 𝗧𝗼𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗿𝗼𝘄 𝗶𝘀 𝗙𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗹𝘆 𝗙𝘂𝗻 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝗶𝗻 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝘂𝗺𝗯𝗶𝗮 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝘆!

Saturday is packed with family-friendly events across the county, making it easy to spend the day exploring festivals, hands-on activities and outdoor fun.

The day begins with Water Wars! at the FASNY Museum of Firefighting in Hudson from 10am - 12pm, where families can enjoy a lively morning of water-themed games and friendly competition. Then head to 𝗖𝗼𝗽𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗙𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘀 𝗗𝗮𝘆 in the Hamlet of Copake from 10am - 4pm for live music, children's activities, train rides, local vendors, tours of the historic Copake Iron Works and a community barbecue.

Over in the Village of Chatham, Summerfest fills Main Street from 10am - 4pm with artisan vendors, food, live entertainment and activities for all ages.

Young creators can get crafty during the Crafty Kids Summer Extravaganza at the Clermont State Historic Site from 11am - 12:30pm, while animal lovers can meet rescued horses and other farm animals during Equine Advocates Public Open Day from 11am - 4pm.

Artmaking in the Afternoon at Olana invites visitors of all ages to create artwork inspired by the Hudson River landscape from 1pm - 4pm.

Whether it's a morning adventure or a full day of exploring, Columbia County has plenty of ways to make the most of this Saturday together.

Since opening our doors in 1926, we have welcomed legions of movie lovers like you into our theater. Let's celebrate 100 years in the community together! Stop by the Crandell between noon and 3pm during Summerfest to record your favorite memories of the theater. We'll share selected stories on the Crandell's big screen later this year as part of our centennial celebration.

. Look what’s happening in the Village of Chatham ❤️
The Warm Ewe is going to move into the Boxwood Linen space, the bookstore will expand, Prema, a woman’s boutique, will go in at 5 Main Street, a jewelry shop at the clock tower and Gallery Rayon Roskar will have a permanent space on Park Row.
