If the weather permits, tomorrow we set sail for Charleston, SC. It's about 200 miles from our current location in Moorehead, NC by Cape Lookout. This next leg will be in the ocean rather than intercoastal waterways! We can't wait to get out there.

We go stuck at a bridge after the the lock in VA. So now we get taco Bell and we get the pleasure of waiting until 6am tomorrow to leave.

I'm excited to announce repairs have officially started on April 15th. Here are some photos from the past two days. We've started to add coats of preservative to the wood inside the cabin and the step ladder (not pictured yet). We have also repaired some damaged walls and door trim. Had an early start on the 17th with repairs, about 6am. Hope you enjoy the pictures and I can't wait to compare them with the final product. Thanks again for following us and the support! Also a special thanks to Patrick Berry, Xaeza Olt for the repair assistance for those two days.
