Everybody help me wish this handsome guy a Happy 80th Birthday!

This is my dad, Brent. If you have every been comfortable, fed, warm, cool, showered, clean, or had fun at Hollowberry Manor, I can 100% guarantee it's because of something he has fixed, taken out, installed, or re-engineered. This man is a mechanical genius, and he loves this house just as much as the rest of us.

The holidays are just around the corner, and you can bet I'm preparing ;) These little beauties hopped into my cart at the thrift store, and I knew they would find the perfect home at Hollowberry Manor.

They will visit us each October. Please give a warm welcome to Clara, Ophelia, Sally, and Polly; they are very happy to be here! I just know they will want to visit every room in the house. What they ask all of you who visit is..."won't you craft with me?"

Mysterium has gotten a glow up! So many fun accessories have been added. Can you spot the handsew spider webs? Sir Raven? Flowers, bats, a new chandelier! Mysterium is a Victorian Gothic dream. Dark purples, black moulding, steep eaves, and gorgeous florals surround you in a cozy and bewitching domain.

Two twin beds provide a comfortable, snuggly space. Due to the narrow staircase and the clawfoot tub in the Degas bathroom, this bedrooms is best for those who enjoy mobility.

You may recall the introduction of Hollowberry's housekeeper, Kirsten Blacketer, a few months ago, and that she is an accomplished author of historical romance. Many of you have had the pleasure of meeting her as well! Many of you have asked about how to get your hands on her books, and here is your chance.

We have another fun project in the Creative Workspace if you need a break --> Victorian Christmas Tree Ornaments!

We will have our first Christmas tree in the house this year, and would love to decorate it with period-style ornaments, including antiques and those made by Hollowberry guests.

We welcome you to bring a completed "trinket," or make one with the supplies provided in the craft room. Be sure to hang a tiny tag on your ornament with your name and year so it can be recorded for posterity.

ENCHANTED BEDROOM at Hollowberry Manor Creative Retreat

This cozy, inviting room is a great spot to "hide away." This bedroom is the first of three bedrooms located in the former servants quarters. We understand it may have been the bedroom of the Lady's maid.

Adorable forest creatures adorn the walls, and soft velvet curtains block out the light, heat, and chill from the outdoors. Two antique twin beds provide a comfortable landing place as you look for hidden treasures in the wall art. Don't worry, Sir Foxington, Lord Oaksbury, and Master Buckingham will keep an eye on things while you're away crafting! These charming fellows are on constant watch over the manor.

The finer details include the burnt orange velvet drapes, an enchanting forest microcommunity, and antique wall sconces. Enjoy the charm and treasures this enchanting bedroom provides.

Things to note: To access this bedroom, you'll walk up the back staircase (the servants stairs). The only rooms used by this private staircase are Enchanted, Harmony, and Mysterium, and the Degas bathroom. Both beds have outlets adjacent to the bed.
