Toddler Friendly Activities in Kuala Lumpur (that could entertain older kids too!)

*Save this or share it with anyone heading to Malaysia with kids!*

1. KLCC Park: Although the playground is closed for renovation until 2027, we still enjoyed walking around the park, which sits almost underneath the Petronas Towers. It makes for a very nice view of Kuala Lumpur's most iconic landmark!

2. Aquaria: A small aquarium only a few blocks away from KLCC Park. They have a tunnel where visitors can see the animals swimming above them.

3. KL Bird Park, Botanic Gardens, and Butterfly Park: I suggest spacing these out, but they are all close to each other. At the bird and butterfly parks, kids have a chance to see animals up close since the animals fly around freely.

4. Zoo Negara: We were able to see all sorts of animals. But the best part was seeing the pandas at their Giant Panda Conservation Centre. (I might have enjoyed that one more than my son 😆🐼)

I was 21. It was a year that took be back to Colombia, back to Africa, and around the U.S. Basically, back to all the places I love most 🥺

My travel style was so different then. I saved every penny I could and tried to stay with family and friends in order to make travel affordable. I didn't know what a luxury hotel was, let alone that I would ever work in the travel industry!

It has been ten years. The way I travel has changed because my life has changed.

In 2016, I was perfectly fine staying on someone's couch. In 2026, you'll only find me in hotel rooms with a King bed. (It'd be tough to share a couch with a grown man who is 6'1 and a tiny human who has an uncanny ability to take up ALL the space 😂)

It was a BIG year for the business and for me as well. I haven't even told you the best part yet. You'll have to wait until tomorrow 😉
