Even travel advisors need to take their own advice every once in a while. 😉✈️

I’ll be out of the office this coming week, trading my laptop for some much-needed quality time and making memories with my own boys. 💙 These are the moments that remind me why I love helping other families plan vacations in the first place.

One of the biggest misconceptions I hear is, "A Royal Caribbean cruise is a Royal Caribbean cruise."

Not quite. 😊

Each class of ship offers a completely different experience. An Oasis Class sailing feels very different from a Quantum Class, Icon Class, Freedom Class, or Voyager Class ship. From the dining and entertainment to the neighborhoods, attractions, and overall atmosphere, no two are exactly alike.

That's why choosing the right ship is just as important as choosing the itinerary.

I've sailed Disney Cruise Line more times than I can count, and every single cruise reminds me why I keep going back.

The service. The entertainment. The little Disney details. The way they make every vacation feel effortless.

But there is something extra special about sailing during Very Merrytime season. ❤️🎄

The moment you step onboard, it feels like Christmas. A giant tree welcomes you in the atrium, holiday music fills the ship, Mickey and Minnie are dressed in their holiday best, and everywhere you turn there are festive touches that make you smile.

What I loved most, though, wasn't the decorations.

It was how easy it was to simply enjoy the season.

No rushing from store to store. No cooking. No cleaning. No worrying about hosting. Just quality time with family, sipping hot chocolate, watching Broadway-style shows, meeting Santa, enjoying incredible meals together, and making memories that felt so much more meaningful than another item under the tree.

I've always believed the best gifts aren't the ones you wrap - they're the experiences your family talks about for years afterward.

A Disney Very Merrytime Cruise is one of those experiences. It's one I'd recommend to anyone who wants to experience the magic of the holidays in a completely different way! 🎅🚢✨

If you’ve sailed on Disney Cruise Line, you already know one of my favorite little perks…

Unlimited soft serve. 😍

Whether it’s a cone after lunch, a poolside afternoon treat, or the perfect late-night snack, there’s just something about grabbing a Mickey-worthy swirl while enjoying the gorgeous ocean views.

And yes… I fully support having ice cream more than once a day while on vacation (I mean - it’s included, after all! 😉)
