You know that moment when you're driving through life on autopilot—going through all the motions, checking all the boxes, showing up for everyone else—but you can't remember the last time you showed up for yourself?

I used to think rest was something I’d earn after the work was done.

But the work is never done, is it?

That’s when I realized: rest isn’t the reward—it’s the requirement. God doesn’t just permit rest. He prescribes it.

Sacred travel changed everything for me. It taught me that stepping away isn’t abandonment—it’s obedience. That silence isn’t empty—it’s full of God’s voice. That healing doesn’t happen in the hustle—it happens in the holy pause.

This is why I founded AGAPE Excursions. Because I know what it’s like to carry grief, transition, and spiritual exhaustion. And I know what happens when you give yourself permission to pursue sacred rest.
