A recently booked a family for a magical Spring Break over at Universal Orlando Resort! They'll be enjoying their luxe accommodations at Loews Portofino Bay Hotel, which also happens to be my favorite of the Universal properties. It's lovely to explore, a nice respite from the noise of the parks, and still so convenient. And this Beach Pool with its zero entry? What a great spot to enjoy mid-day!

More Disney Dining news for Walt Disney World. ICYMI, The Diamond Horseshoe at Magic Kingdom will have a pop-up fall menu. This debuts October 4th and reservations open up 9/29.

This menu feels very lounge-like. Think shareable small bites, accompanied by non-alcoholic and alcoholic speciality drinks.

What would you be getting? I'm personally a sucker for a hanging strip of bacon, so I'd be all over that charcuterie. And, if the corn fritters are anything like the amazing corn griddle cakes over at Beak and Barrel, then I'd be getting those, too.

I recently booked a family for an EPIC day before they head to Walt Disney World for the Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend next month. They'll be enjoying a night at Helios Grand and then waking up to head out the door of their resort and right into Epic Universe with their Express Passes. Can't get more convenient (and fun!) than that!

Walt Disney World just announced the new menu items of their newest restaurant, opening up October 1st on the Disney BoardWalk.

The Hurly-Burly is going in the spot where Jellyrolls used to be located. The space is being reimagined as a historic seaside theater, once the home of the BoardWalk’s most celebrated vaudeville performers and now reopening a century later.

This will be an adults-only spot after 9 PM, but is family-friendly with activities (like trivia!!!) during the day time.

The menu has Small Bites, Non-Alcoholic Speciality Drinks, and Alcoholic Beverages. In addition to the pictured Small Bites, there are also mini pretzels accompanied by a bacon-cheese fondue as well as Theater Concessions, which is a combo of a trio of meatballs, sugar cookie, and buttered popcorn.

Non-Alcoholic Specialty Drinks are the Overture in Orange (frozen treat made with OJ and sweet cream), Caramel Corn Cold Brew (an AMAZING sounding cold brew topped with caramel sweet cream and caramel popcorn!), and the Cherry Marquee, which is lemonade blended with Amarena cherries and garnished with a cherry.

LOTS of alcoholic libations are available, including the Caramel Corn Old Fashioned and wine, beer, hard ciders, and hard seltzers.

Ryan, Marissa, and the gang are in Palm Springs with Oliver 😬 Sooo…seemed like a good time to remind you that if you’re wanting to head out west, I work with some great properties in California and have a partnership with Thompson Palm Springs that even gives you additional amenities.

I promise it’ll be infinitely less creepy than staying in a house with Oliver.
