Today brings back one of the most unforgettable memories of my life — **Mt. Whitney, 2017**. 🏔️

We started our hike at **3:30 AM**, reached the summit at **1:00 PM**, and finally made it back to the trailhead at **9:00 PM**. Nearly **18 hours** of hiking, pushing our limits, fighting exhaustion, and refusing to give up.

Doing **Mt. Whitney in a single day** was no easy task, but standing at the summit made every step worth it. 💪🏔️

Some adventures end when you reach the trailhead, but the memories stay with you forever. **A memory of a lifetime!** ❤️

# # # 11 Years. 7,000 Miles. A Lifetime of Memories. 🏃‍♂️❤️

11 years ago today, I ran my very first race — the San Diego Half Marathon. I had no idea that one race would change my life forever.

Since that day, I’ve run approximately 7,000 miles over 11 years — an average of about 635 miles every year. Along the way, I’ve completed 11 half marathons and 11 full marathons🏅

But the numbers are only a small part of the story. The real journey has been about discipline, perseverance, the people who encouraged me, the miles that tested me, and the countless moments of happiness along the way.

I’m incredibly grateful to God that, after 11 years, I’m still able to run. 🙏❤️

Thank you to everyone who has supported, encouraged, and motivated me throughout this journey. Every kind word, every cheer, and every bit of encouragement has meant more than you know.

Of all the things I’ve accomplished, this is one thing I’m truly proud of myself for.

Here’s to the next mile, the next finish line, and many more years of running! 🏃‍♂️💪

12 miles logged in after long time! It’s always good to finish 2 hour of running before 9AM on a Saturday morning!

Don’t forget to apply for the Mt Whitney lottery! Today (March 1) is the last date to apply via recreation.gov and the result will be announced on March 15.

Won the only lottery back in 2016.

***** Throwback post 2024 Feb 18 *******

One of my toughest hikes! My legs were like what the hell are you doing to me! 7 hours hike to the campsite over 7 miles with an elevation gain of 5500 feet! Can’t ask for a better view than from your campsite which sits across the active volcano Fuego. We even hiked to the closest but safest point near Fuego and that memory will be with me forever. You cant get to see the volcano 🌋 erupting just 500 feet away from you daily. You can feel the land vibrating when it erupts.

Once in a lifetime experience.

Race No :28, Full Marathon : 12

Completed the Bank of America Chicago Marathon at 4h:32m (official time is 4:40)! It’s a different feeling when you run with 30,000 runners in the streets of Chicago! Electrifying atmosphere and Awesome crowd support!

Machu Picchu in Peru is one of my favorite places on earth and I was stunned by its beauty. It’s one of the 7 wonders of the world and it is deserved to be on that list for many more years to come! But looking at the current situation, I feel sad! 1000’s of people have been evacuated due to protests near Machu Picchu! I hope the management and the Peruvian government will take necessary actions to bring peace to Machu Picchu and not losing the iconic status of being one of the 7 wonders in the world!

10th year get together! A batch of 1997-2001 engineering friends from SREC, Coimbatore!

It’s always great to catch up with your friends once in a year! We have been doing this since 2015 and this one was our 10th year!

We booked our cabin near Estes park, the gateway of Rocky Mountain National park. We hiked to Bear lake, Dream lake and Emerald lake and then visited Vail Colorado for the mountain biking! It was a fun experience and the get together was a grand success!
