South Shore Tourism Center This page is to stimulate tourism to the south side of Chicago, along the southern shores; offering films, walking tours, architectural and boat tours too.

Chicago's beautiful southern shore runs from Roosevelt Road to the end of the city, even stretches across to Indiana along the shore. Tours include the history awesome architecture, iconic buildings and homes, as well as great beaches, nature walks, bike rides and bus excursions. The urban/rural agricultural collaborations are also examined as well as the business opportunities to shop, eat, to bu

ild and or purchase. Trips featured will be from one end of the 2nd Congressional District to the other, with Great Migration highlights, visits to farms, ranches and the Basu Museum and Cultural Center. Often trips to advocate for the South Shore community and southern shore environmental and micro business development opportunities related to tourism will be planned as well.
