A first look at the future of live music in Cincinnati.

The Farmer Music Center, now under construction near Riverbend Music Center, has shared a new fly-through video offering an early look at the fan experience inside the state-of-the-art outdoor music and entertainment venue.

Set to open in Spring 2027, the venue will welcome up to 20,000 guests and represents another major investment in Cincinnati’s arts, culture, and visitor economy.

New details also include a meaningful tribute honoring Marian and Donald Spencer, whose leadership helped shape Cincinnati’s civil rights, education, and community legacy.

Cincinnati is preparing to welcome one of its most significant conventions of the year.

Over the last four days, leadership from Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Incorporated met with partners from across the region as planning continues for the 85th Grand Conclave, coming to Cincinnati July 30 through August 3.

The level of collaboration reflects the importance of this event. Leaders from Cincinnati, Covington and Newport were part of the planning conversations, including all three mayors and all three city managers, along with partners across public safety, transportation, venue operations, hospitality, technology, and regional welcome efforts.

This is a major convention for the region, bringing thousands of attendees to Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky and creating meaningful impact for hotels, restaurants, small businesses, attractions, transportation partners, and the broader hospitality community.

Thank you to the many partners helping prepare for a successful Grand Conclave and a strong experience for attendees across the Cincinnati region.

The Ohio River has always been part of Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky’s story. This week was a reminder that it’s also part of the region’s future.

The Ohio River Way Challenge made its stop along Riverfront Commons on Monday as volunteer paddlers continue a 23-day, 488-mile journey down the river, celebrating the Ohio River Way’s recent designation as a National Water Trail.

It was great to see community leaders, partners, and advocates come together around something that connects so many communities across the region. The river is more than a backdrop. It’s an asset for recreation, tourism, storytelling, and regional connection.

A special moment seeing the National Park Service documenting the journey and the momentum building around the Ohio River experience.

Tourism, culture, film, and history all help shape how people experience Cincinnati and this week’s Economic and Cultural Opportunity Committee meeting highlighted just how connected that work really is.

Julie Kirkpatrick shared updates on Visit Cincy’s work to drive visitation, conventions, and economic impact, while Kirsten Schlotman of Film Cincinnati and Elizabeth Pierce of Cincinnati Museum Center spoke about the important role film, arts, culture, and history continue to play in Cincinnati’s momentum and visibility.

What visitors remember most about Cincinnati often goes beyond a meeting, concert, or event. It’s the feeling of discovering something unexpected around the next corner.

In her latest Op-Ed, posted on Friday, ArtsWave President & CEO Alecia Kintner explores how arts and culture help shape the visitor experience across the Cincinnati region and why investing in creativity matters to tourism, community, and quality of life.

A great read on the connection between the arts and the visitor economy.

Opinion: Cincinnati's creativity is its competitive edge as a tourism destination.

A big moment for one of the region’s most recognizable landmarks.

Long-term repairs on the Purple People Bridge are officially underway, marking an important step forward for the future of the riverfront connection between Cincinnati and Newport.

The City of Newport also shared plans for a future lighting project, backed by $2 million from the Kentucky General Assembly.

Great to see so much momentum around a bridge that means a lot to this region.
