Starting in 2027, Disney Cruise Line will officially sail out of New York City — and it gets even better… it’s on the Disney Wish, the ship I just sailed on and absolutely loveddddd.

These new itineraries include magical sailings to both Bermuda (hello pink‑sand beaches!) and Canada (charming coastal towns + crisp northern views). It’s such an exciting addition for families, friend groups, and anyone who wants that perfect mix of Disney magic and easy East Coast travel.

Simpson’s land is one place I never thought I would enjoy as an adult but it is SO fun. My childhood memories always flood back when I’m in that area since I was one of those lucky 90’s kids who watched Simpsons every night right before Jeopardy 😆 Having a Duff Beer at Moe’s is all worth it.

Epic has really gone above and beyond what theme park food used to look like. These soup dumplings 🥟🥟 were from a little snack stand in Celestial Park and were better than the dumplings I get from my local take out place. Best part is - I didn’t have to eat another freaking french fry while on vacation!

My current favorite port is Grand Turk! Wow is Turks and Caicos amazing, but Grand Turk had that special feature that it isn’t overbuilt or popularized - it feels like a remote island in the Caribbean. What is your favorite port?

My kids did their first Royal Caribbean Cruise 🛳️ in November and all they do is talk about it. They left that ship with such great memories:
- Buffets and Pizza at any time
- Loads of Rock Climbing
- Seeing the Bahamas
- Zip lining!
- Swimming with dolphins
- And all of Perfect Day at Coco Cay

Reasons why I went on two Virgin Voyages within two years if each other 🛳️:
-The FOOD - just wow. The presentation, restaurants, and quality are so much more than the average buffet centric cruise.
-The quality vs. quantity aspect of the cruise. Because the cruise was smaller, we were able to utilize intimate trivia games to the point where we grew to know the other teams and the Gamer hosting the games. We could also sign up for dinner, spa and excursions without having to wake up at midnight to do so weeks prior to the cruise.
-My group! We loved our first Virgin Voyages cruise together in 2024 that we had to do another together! We picked a different route but still a smaller itnerary (5 nights) because this was just an adults only trip!
-Which always brings me to my last favorite part of Virgin cruises - no kids! Gosh I love my kids but Mama needs a vacation to be Lauren again :)
