Hi everyone. I’m sorry I’ve not posted anything with regards to how things are going. I’ve been going through many difficulties and have been heavily distracted.
Over the past year since starting up, A.I.F. has gone through challenges, which had jeopardized our operations and ability to offer new items.
A.I.F. is an attempt to revive what the original AnimeTen was. However while a labor of love, it has been a venture that barely sustained itself. I felt that by working two to three jobs I would be able to keep it going so it could grow into a stronger business. Alas this can no longer happen.
I never posted about forced relocation within Frank and Son’s nor the venue’s relocation to the old Sam’s Club with a higher lease and expansion to Sunday operations. I’ve kept mum about my health and auto crashes I’ve suffered which impacted my ability to operate A.I.F.
Due to the pandemic, I’ve lost two jobs and am on hiatus with my seasonal one. I also was hospitalized and am narrowly avoiding an amputation. Currently still talking antibiotics by IV and recovering from surgery.
With Frank’s opening up and my current lack of an automobile, I can not maintain operations at Frank’s. I can’t afford the $1040 a month to keep one booth and having underlying conditions and taking care of my mother, who is a senior, I also can’t afford exposing myself to an environment that places us at risk.
A.I.F. Will close its booth and go on hiatus while I recover from this. The items will return online either by ebay or face book sales as well as an online store.
Opening an online store is not a guarantee to success. It will be an uphill battle. But it can be done.
I just need time to get back on my feet and start up again. I need to find new opportunities to generate income so I can support the shop.
I’m sorry I don’t have better news. I’m not giving up. As things progress I’ll keep providing updates.
Thank you all for the likes. I’ve appreciated them. They actually give me hope.
Sincerely,
Abel.
