The Riverbend Bicycle Club (RBBC) is an organization of people interested in the joys of safe bicycling. Through its monthly meeting, the club provides an opportunity for bicyclists to enjoy fellowship with fellow cyclists, discuss issues concerning bicycling, conduct the business of the club, and brag about their most recent cycling adventures. It is the goal of RBBC to promote safe bicycle ridin

g and inform the public of the advantages and needs of bicyclist everywhere, and spur interest in cycling to grow the sport through an educated public and bicyclist themselves.

The RBBC is going to have a "Celebrate 250 Ride" to honor the 250th Anniversary of our country. You do not have to be in Clinton to participate, find a team and report your miles to a team leader during the week of June 27-July 4. Jerseys are available for purchase to commemorate the ride, go to the on-line store.

2026 Saturday ride schedule
All rides leave from the Shell Station in Fulton at 8:30am unless noted.
Rides are cancelled if it is raining or if rain is imminent.
Mileage is estimated.

Saturday, May 23 - Backroads to Cordova. Ride the trail through the Albany Mounds, then take backroads to Cordova. Rest stop in Cordova. Great River Trail back to Fulton. 41 miles

Saturday, June 6 - North of Morrison Loop/ Morrison Car Show Ride. Take a scenic ride in the country Union Grove Rd, Nelson Rd, Spring Valley Rd to Lyndon Road. This year there is a car show at the Whiteside County Fairgrounds. Lunch available at the car show. 41 miles

Saturday, June 27 - Erie/Prophetstown/Lyndon ride with lunch at Shaw’s Marketplace cookout in Prophetstown. 54 miles. Saturday, July 4 - Stay off the highway and ride along the trail to Port Bryon. Lunch at Subway. 50 miles Saturday, July 11 - Low Moor Car Show. Ride time TBD. Ride Clinton trail to Camanche and on to Low Moor for Low Moor Days and car show. Lunch available at the car show. (Low Moor Lions Club pork chop sandwich) 35 miles.

The RBBC is having a Picnic Ride in place of our monthly meeting, Wednesday, May 13th, 2026. If you want to ride, our ride begins at 5:30 at the Sawmill Museum and we will ride to Rotary Park near 5th Ave South in Clinton, Iowa, (about 2 miles). Schwinn's will lead the way and bikes are not necessary; all are welcome to attend. Pork cutlets and buns will be provided while they last, bring a dish to pass and enjoy the evening picnic. Someone will be at Rotary Park if you would like drop your dish off at 5:00 P.M.
