“A picture of the area from the very beginning of the space race”—that’s what one guest described their experience as they cruised Cocoa Beach’s historic waters! 🚀🏄 The captain not only pointed out dolphins and birds but also shared vintage images and stories—transforming each tour into a step back in time. Connecting the past with the present, these anecdotes offer a deeper understanding of how this region evolved alongside NASA’s bold dreams. Every Wildside trip is a trip through time as well as nature! 🌌🌿

A highlight for many guests is watching, up close, how dolphins herd baitfish and seeing manatees curiously approach the quiet boat. But it goes deeper: the guides share time-honored wisdom on local ecosystems, knowing when to pause, watch, and listen. Guests say the care shown for wildlife is a lesson in itself—a distinctive part of the region’s culture. It turns every animal sighting into an opportunity for reflection, respect, and delight in the unique blend of nature and heritage found here. 🐬📚🌴

An exhilarating day on the water with Wildside Tours! Started with a warm welcome from our expert Captain and guide. She effortlessly navigated us through curious manatees and playful dolphins.😆☀🐬 Listening to their engaging talks on the area's ecology, we couldn't help but fall in love with the scenic Thousand Islands. The boat? Just perfect - quiet, stable, and yes, restroom-equipped! How about that for comfort while sailing? (

🚤 There's something magical about sharing moments in nature with friends and family. Witness the graceful manatees and playful dolphins up close. Our tour on the catamaran with Wildside Tours felt like an entry into a hidden world where wildlife and humanity coexist in harmony. The captain and guide made sure it was more than just a tour — it was a symphony of stories, laughter, and breathtaking sights. Being part of this made every second cherished. If paradise had a sound, it would be the laughter as the waters kissed our boat. 🌴✨

It’s Time to Report Your Sightings!

Imagine surviving mass extinctions, dinosaurs, and TikTok’s shutdown —that’s a horseshoe crab for ya’.

These tiny tanks have been around for over 450 million years, keeping busy in large mating groups along sandy (low-wave action) beaches. While it’s common to spot these groups around high tide in March and April, scientists need more information to learn about their habitat use, population distribution, and nesting conditions in Florida.
