I remember my mom making my birthday cakes. She's the one who taught me how to decorate cakes ❤️

In mid-century America it was more common for moms to bake family birthday cakes rather than buying one from a bakery. They were often decorated with these type of adorable candy cake decorations. The one's pictured were by Betty Crocker.
