There's always something going on here in Downtown Denver. I was walking past the Sheraton Hotel and saw some guys protesting the Marriott Hotel Chain (Sheraton is owned by Marriott). The protesters were yelling for Marriott to stop abusing animals. There were also people dressed like animals but it was confusing because it seemed like they were not assiciated with the protesters. Anyway, it was an unusual scene which is more interesting than the usual boring day.

The Trump family joined with the Witkoff family to start a crypto business called World Liberty Financial. There have been huge conflicts of interest because the Trump's personal business interests are intertwined with the U.S. Government activities.

The Colorado Governor's Mansion here in Denver is having landscapers work on a project where they are taking out the manicured lawn and replacing it with native grasses. This is actually going to be the wave of the future because it is just not feasible to keep watering lawns everywhere with water shortages and droughts.

I'm riding around the Downtown Denver light rail loop to show the latest progress on the project to replace the train tracks and cement underneath them. I talked to two separate guys working on the project and they said the deadline is December 1st but also said that at the pace they're working at, they will go way past that deadline. The workers are doing a great job but they probably need more of them. The Downtown Denver economy of restaurants and businesses are taking a hit during this project because not as many people are coming downtown. The city just finished the 16th Street Mall project which went way over schedule by over a year and hurt the downtown economy. Anyway, again, the workers are doing a great job but they just might need another team to help facilitate the project.
