After years of waiting on a pass that’s closed 11 months out of the year, today was finally the day. 🏔️ Pretty sure I just got taken off a few Christmas card lists after putting everyone through that trail, but hey—we all survived! Wrapped up the ride exploring the Alpine Tunnel before grabbing well-earned food and drinks at The Stumbling Moose in Pitkin. 🍻✨

Yesterday was one for the books! ⛰️ We took friends and family up to American Flag Mountain for a day filled with incredible weather, massive views, and top-tier riding. The absolute highlight? Watching Larry the Bird Whisperer literally summon birds out of thin air for a snack. Pure magic! 🦅🔥

First voyage in the new float tube was an absolute success! 🎣

Took it out yesterday to break it in and hit the jackpot right out of the gate with a big ol’ Pike. Ended up landing a couple more smaller pike after that, plus a sweet 16" rainbow trout to top off the day.

Safe to say this thing is officially broken in and lucky. 🌊🐟

Today was a great day, we had an amazing ride up and around American Flag Mountain and was able to help recover some stuck vehicles at the reservoir. Got to show off the awesome Traction Crate and Recovery Rope kit. Both worked flawlessly like always. I am a firm believer in their products which is why I put their name out there so much. The lady we helped today said it best, the price of the traction crate and recovery rope is cheaper than the tow truck to recover them and it is very useful.

Sasquatch Adventures was there today to help not 1 but 2 out of a stuck situation thanks to traction crate and recovery rope system. Made simple work out of a recovery that had previously taken hours due to lack of proper recovery gear. I am a firm believer of what goes around, comes around.

After all the rough trails we have rode the past few days we decided... why stop now🤣 We headed north from camp to Tellurium Creek road which is alot like driving up a dried up creek bed of large rocks. The reward though is worth it with amazing views. Unfortunately we had storms fire up early which had us exiting the area quickly for the shelter of trees and not being above treeline. We ended up getting heavy rain and hail but the area needs any and all moisture at the moment so all is good. On the ride back we almost got us a nice buck as it stepped out into the road as I was passing by. Then a few miles down the road I look over and notice a momma moose running parallel to us in the trees just 10 yrds away. We got to an opening and had the baby moose cross right in front of us while momma stayed up on the hill. Cute little guy but we didn't stick around long as being between a momma and her baby is not a good place to be parked. Thanks to the storms we relaxed in the afternoon with an early dinner at the local cafe and some much needed rest. Tomorrow we shall ride again😁

Another amazing day of exploring and showing friends around (10.5hrs worth). Today we did the Miners Loop which goes from Tincup, over Tincup Pass to St Elmo for some chipmunk action. We then headed up to the Mary Murphy Tramway and Pomeroy Lake to see what that trail was about. After that we headed up and over Hancock Pass and down to see the Alpine Tunnel. What an amazing site that was. We then headed on down to Pitkin to the Stumbling Moose for lunch/dinner since it was getting late. After a great meal we headed back to Taylor Park via Cumberland Pass. We dodged the storms all day and the area luckily got some additional much needed rain.

Another beautiful day of exploring with friends Tom, Kristen Beverage and son Cale with 86mi yesterday and another 50mi today. Amazing rides up to Texas Creek, Lilly Pond, Cross Mountain, a cruise down Union Creek and a little detour up to Buck Mine on the return trip.
