Love River Cruising!! Highly recommend! Call me if you have any questions about them!!
Will I Get Seasick on a River Cruise?
This is one of the most common questions I get, and the answer is almost always no, and here's why.
A river cruise moves through calm inland waterways. There are no ocean swells, no rolling waves, no open-water crossings. The motion you feel is more like a slow-moving train than anything you'd experience on the open sea. People who have been badly seasick on ocean cruises report zero issues on rivers. The ship glides smoothly, often while you're sleeping, and you wake up in a new port.
The only thing that might catch you off guard is a slight bump going through a river lock, and even that is more interesting than unsettling. If you have a history of severe motion sickness and you're still nervous, bring your medication as a precaution, but the vast majority of guests never need it.
River cruising is genuinely one of the most accessible ways to travel Europe, no sea legs required. DM me and let's talk through any other hesitations you have.
