My 3rd and final cruise of the summer. I sailed Virgin Voyages July 2nd, Royal Caribbean August 3rd, and now Carnival to wrap things up.

Carnival sometimes gets a bad reputation. I haven’t sailed with them since 2017, so it was time to try it again, and I was pleasantly surprised!

I have sailed Victory, Sensation and Conquest. This was my first experience with one of Carnival’s big ships and it did not disappoint. The food was fantastic, especially in the dining room. They still have my favorite chocolate melting cake🤤, shows were good, comedy was fab, and the casino🎰 had a lot of variety.

🚢Virgin is great for an adult only experience and less crowds/smaller ships

🛳️Royal is great for multi-generational families especially the younger kiddos under the age of 7.

🛳️Carnival is great for families with kids as well, but more geared towards kids 8 and older.

Overall, Royal still has my heart. They are the total package! ❤️

Day 6 of our Virgin Voyages cruise. We were in Prince Rupert, British Columbia, Canada. We took a kayaking tour that included a small hike and a fish a chips lunch to end the excursion.

Day 5 was my favorite day! Sailing through Endicott Arm and seeing Dawes Glacier. One of those places that you need to experience in person. I was moved to tears. It was absolutely stunning😍.

Day 4 we were in Sitka. We walked to Totem Park, watched eagles from the river, and had lunch at Sitka Hotel.
