August Supper Club with the Hungarian Butcher
Few chefs have worked in more notable kitchens than this month’s featured chef Dan Varga. His time in restaurants like The Refectory, Explorer’s Club, and Ray Ray’s led him not only to be named one of Columbus Monthly’s ‘Tastemakers’, but also gained him the prestigious accolade of demonstrating his skills at the James Beard House in New York City.
Dan has since opened the Hungarian Butcher, where the shop creates old-world style meat products that garner not only a loyal local following, but bring in repeat customers from around the state and beyond.
For this month’s Supper Club, Dan is bringing his considerable skills in both cooking and butchery to a mouthwatering 7 course menu filled with intriguing twists on elevated European favorites.
