Honestly, it was a really cool perk with Southwest… But the people complaining about it are getting a bit ridiculous in my opinion. What say all of you? 

Southwest Airlines is doing away with its 50-year tradition and plans to start assigning seats and premium seating for customers who are seeking more legroom.

Thought this post was interesting…So in the UK and EU, airplane Mode is NOT necessary…Here in the US, it is indeed still required. Better buy that airline WiFi package if you want to use your phone/tablet on the plane.

... and can flight attendants tell if you haven't?

Simply an FYI for those who may want to go to Hawaii so that you know what you have to do in order to not have to quarantine.

Hawaii to require visitors to the state receive a COVID-19 vaccine booster if they want to skip quarantine.

Sharing this for informational purposes for travelers wanting to go to Hawaii. I’m still booking Hawaii, no problem. You just need to be mindful of the current rules. This is not a post where debate on the efficacy of the vaccine and social distancing is appropriate. I have my own views on those things. We can debate that all day long on my personal timeline, but the business page is not the place for it. Sharing for informational purposes, and I will turn commenting off if I have to.

Canada joins a growing list of countries that will be requiring the Covid vaccine for entry starting this fall. We all have our points of view on the vaccine and whether or not it SHOULD be required; this isn’t the place to discuss those…Sharing for customers for informational purposes. I welcome differing points of view and healthy debate on my personal page, but would prefer discussions on the business page stick to travel and travel-related topics. :-)

Sharing for informational purposes as I’ve had clients who refuse to fly United because they are requiring all employees be vaccinated. So far, it looks like Delta, American, and Southwest will not be requiring this of current employees. Though I have read that Delta will be requiring this of incoming employees. Sharing for informational purposes only.

The CEOs of Southwest Airlines, American Airlines and Delta Air Lines say they are not requiring unvaccinated employees to receive the shot, breaking with United Airlines' mandate that workers get vaccinated by October 25 or face getting fired.
