I noticed the black raspberries while Dodger and I were on our way down to the mailbox to get the newspaper. Couldn't let them go to waste, so I ran in and got a container...and my iPhone. The picture of Dodge and the day lilies is because, well, Dodger! And day lilies!

This year's first crop was cut on Thursday, dried on Friday, and baled and brought into the barn on Saturday. For the first time in...since we started doing this...the weather was PERFECT. Low humidity, not too hot and no threat of rain at all. On Friday, I took a break from prepping the barn for bringing in hay and walked around the fields with my trusty companion Dodger and my iPhone.

I'm back...in the barn again after shoulder surgery in December. Climbed into the loft, dropped down hay, cleaned and refilled the water buckets, did a llama swap (Rocky harasses Cremello, have to have one or the other segregated in the pen during the winter), moved the ladder to the other loft AND spent some quality time with the barn cat. Life is returning to normal. HUGE thanks to Deane for keeping Llama World spinning during my convalescence.
