Okay, I’ve been a little MIA over here lately. 😂

Not because I disappeared or stopped planning travel. Quite the opposite.

I’ve been working behind the scenes, planning trips, making some changes in my business, and really thinking about what I want to share on here going forward.

And I decided I want to get back to what I actually enjoy.

Talking about travel.

Not just posting a pretty beach picture and telling you to book a vacation.

I want to share the things that are actually helpful when you’re trying to plan one. Resorts I’m researching. Cruise talk. Disney and Universal updates. All-inclusives. Europe. Travel tips. Things I’ve learned. Things I have opinions about. 😂

Basically, more of the stuff I talk about with my clients every day anyway.

I also started a private Facebook group where we can actually have those conversations instead of me just talking AT everyone over here. I now have two weekly newsletters, one with travel deals and the other with travel information about what’s new at the theme parks, travel tips, vacation spotlights etc..

So yes, I’m back.

And I have a lot to talk about. 😂

Planning your first cruise? 🚢 The price of your cabin isn’t always the full cost of your cruise vacation.

Depending on your cruise line and what’s included, you’ll also want to think about gratuities, shore excursions, drinks, Wi-Fi, specialty dining, transportation to the cruise port and possibly a pre-cruise hotel.

Some of these may already be included and others are completely optional. That’s why it’s important to look beyond the cabin price when comparing cruises.

Knowing what’s included BEFORE you book means fewer surprises once you’re onboard. 😉

Some places really are every bit as beautiful as the photos.

Keukenhof in the Netherlands is only open for a few weeks each spring, but during that time millions of tulips, daffodils, and hyacinths are in bloom. It honestly felt like walking through a painting.

If flower season is on your bucket list, this belongs near the top.

Would you do this on a cruise ship? 👀🚢

North Star takes you high above Odyssey of the Seas for a completely different view of the ship and everything around you.

This is one of those cruise experiences that’s so much better when you know about it before you sail.

So…are you getting in, or staying safely down on the pool deck? 😂

When you think of eating pizza in Rome, I’m pretty sure this isn’t what comes to mind first. 😂🍕🇮🇹

At Crazy Pizza, dinner comes with music, energy and some seriously impressive pizza spinning.

Was it a traditional quiet little Roman pizzeria? Definitely not. Was it a fun night? Absolutely.

Sometimes the unexpected experiences end up being some of the best travel memories.
