Beautiful Native American dancing at the Cortez Cultural Center in Cortez, CO. Norman Roach and his nephew Craig presented a very interesting and informative program. Their regalia was handmade and impressive, the dances, flute music and explanations were very well done .

I took students to the Gathering of Nations in the early 90’s and this year attended “The Last Dance”. It was still heartwarming and impressive. I will never forget the experience. Colors, regalia, dancing, drums and singing.
Very proud, patriotic Native Americans, rising up from past traumas, still sharing their culture and heritage.🌻

The final year of the largest powwow in the USA. Hundreds of dancers from many different tribes across North America were in attendance.

A good thing to support this weekend!

I’m excited to be part of Art For The Animals at the Turquoise Raven Art Gallery on Saturday, March 21st from 5–8 PM. 🐾🎨

This special evening brings local artists together to support two wonderful organizations: Blackhat Humane Society and For Pets' Sake.
I’ll have artwork in the show along with many other artists. All pieces are $350 and under, and a portion of ticket and art sales will benefit these animal organizations.

🎶 Live music by Cottonwood from 5:30–7:30 PM

Tickets:
• $10 admission
• $25 admission includes two glasses of w**e

Tickets can be purchased at the gallery (cash or check).

Come enjoy an evening of art, music, and community while helping animals in need. I hope to see you there! 🐶🐱
